Stassi Schroeder’s Stunning Weight Loss: See Her Transformation in Before and After Photos

Stassi Schroeder

Stassi Schroeder has a diet plan that is not like most celebrities. The Vanderpump Rules star admitted that she managed to lose weight by following an intermittent fasting diet plan. It is a cycle between periods of fasting and eating. What is so unique about Stassi Schroeder’s weight loss plan is that she skips breakfast.

You might be wondering how and why? While most healthy diet plans emphasize breakfast as the most important meal, Stassi tries something different. She is not a fan of breakfast food, so she skips the meal altogether and waits until lunch for her first meal.

Unlike other diets, Stassi doesn’t limit herself in terms of what is on the plate. She eats mostly everything and even indulges in pizza or pasta. Do you want to know more about how the reality star shed some pounds? Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon originally inspired her diet. After a while, the reality star decided to give it a go. But she adopted her own version of intermittent fasting.

Stassi says, “A Life with a salad with a teaspoon of dressing is not the life that anyone should have to live”.

Get To Know Stassi

How much do you know about the reality star? Do you know Stassi is not her real name? Born Nastassia Bianca Shroeder in June 1988 in New Orleans, Louisiana, she grew up in the city. As a young child, Stassi attended a private Catholic school.

During this period, she showed interest in arts and entertainment, including singing, dancing, and acting. Stassi also had a passion for fashion, which vastly influenced her career. Nowadays, she is seen as one of the better-dressed celebrities in Hollywood.

Following her graduation, the reality star attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. There, she studied English writing and even got a minor in theater arts. But her passion for the entertainment industry remained strong. Stassi wanted to be part of the entertainment industry, despite her academic pursuits and writing skills.

She rose to fame through her appearance on the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules. The show premiered in 2013 and follows the life of the staff at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants in Los Angeles. Stassi was one of the original cast members, and her wit, outspoken personality, and sense of style quickly made her a fan favorite.

Before making it in the entertainment industry as a reality TV star, Stassi had other arrangements. For example, she worked as a model and fashion blogger, something she was passionate about as a young child. Stassi has also worked as a podcast host.

In 2018, Schroeder launched her fashion line Outfit of the Day, featuring trendy and affordable clothing. In 2019, the fashionista released her book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook.

Her personal life has been a subject of public interest. Stassi has been relatively open about her relationships and high-profile romances. She has had an on-again, off-again relationship with co-star Jax Taylor.

Why Did She Lose Weight?

In March 2021, Stassi was the first to admit that her life looks completely different than it did a few years ago. The reality star left Vanderpump Rules, got married to Beau Clark, and had a newborn child.

Before her pregnancy, the fashionista’s life was all about looking amazing and starting drama with her friends. But following her pregnancy, she struggled with losing weight. We all know pregnancy puts a toll on the body, and the reality TV star put on some weight as well.

Stassi has been open about her post-baby weight gain.

In January 2021, the fashionista and her husband Beau Clark welcomed their daughter Hartford into the world. Since then, she had to adjust to her new body.

Speaking of the experience, Stassi posted on Instagram, “1st postpartum OOTD- I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s been 7 weeks since I gave birth and my maternity jeans are still the only ones that fit me. I’m also wearing spanx to hold in what looks like a 4 month pregnant belly. I thought it would be way easier to bounce back, and every day I wake up like a kid on Christmas morning hoping that when I look in the mirror, I’m going to see my pre-pregnant body once again, and that obvs never happens”.

The celebrity continued describing how messed up it is that women have to focus on getting their body back to where it was before childbirth.

She said, “My body issues consume my thoughts about 97% of the day, and it is a major hole I struggle to dig myself out of. We’re told we have to eat enough calories to breastfeed but don’t overdo it because then we won’t get our bodies back. All the while I’m trying to stay mentally and emotionally healthy for my baby, my husband, and myself”.

Fans supported her, but Stassi Schroeder’s weight loss journey was not an easy one. She thanked fans for their support, saying, “I’ve read some kind dm’s from people telling me to give myself grace but I’m not gonna lie, I truly don’t know how to give myself grace and that’s a depressing fact. I also feel like an asshole for complaining about my body when I was given the most perfect baby. Totally wish I wasn’t so vain, but unfortunately, I am. All I can say is thank the lord shirt jackets are in. Hope this helped at least one other postpartum mama feel a little less alone today. On a positive note, my Chanel sling backs fit”.

How Did She Lose Weight?

Now let’s talk about Stassi Schroeder’s weight loss diet. As we said before, she adjusted the intermittent fasting. During a live tapping of her podcast Basically Stassi, the former Vanderpump Rules star talked about her wedding with fiancé Beau Clark.

Speaking about testing out mild starvation, she explained, “I’m doing intermittent fasting. I can still have ranch dressing and anything I want to eat, but only from 11-6. I don’t feel deprived”.

Determined to stick to her new eating habits, the reality star showed off her bridal diet while sharing a lunch with her fiancé. With Stassi, everything is on social media. Her plate was piled high with fresh vegetables and a chunk of creamy cheese, while her fiancé sat beside her with a tempting plate of freshly made Italian pizza. Fittingly, she captioned the post with “bridal diet and not bridal diet”.

Understanding Intermittent Fasting

If you saw Stassi Schroeder’s weight loss diet and you thought about giving it a go, you have to understand it fully first. Yes, intermittent fasting can help with weight loss. How does it work? It is a cycle in which you alternate between periods of eating and fasting.

It is not a diet about starving yourself. It is about cutting way back on calories for short time periods. The explanation is that your body becomes satisfied with smaller portions while you reduce cravings for unhealthy foods.

There are several approaches to intermittent fasting, and choosing one is a matter of personal preference. You have to understand the four types, and then figure out what works best for you. Some people find the approach amazing, while others say it is not for them.

  • The most common option is the time-restricted eating, popularly known as the 16/8 or 14/10 method, where you have set fasting and eating windows. In other words, you fast for 16 hours and then eat for the remaining 8 hours of the day. The method is popular since people fast while sleeping. A common example is eating between 10 am and 6 pm or between 9 am and 7 pm(14/10 method)
  • Another common example is the twice-a-week method or the 5:2 method. It is an approach in which you cap your calories at 500 for two days a week, while you maintain a healthy and balanced diet for the remaining five days. On fasting days, you divide it into one 200-calorie meal and one 300-calorie meal. You can choose either day for fasting, as long as there is a non-fasting day between them
  • A modified version is the alternate-day fasting, which is when you fast every other day. Same as the 5:2 method, you limit yourself to 500 calories on fasting days and follow a healthy diet on non-fasting days
  • Last is the 24-hour fast, which involves fasting for a full 24 hours. Often, people do it once or twice per week, and fast from breakfast to breakfast or from lunch to lunch. The problem is side effects such as extreme fatigue, headaches, and irritability can be a challenge with the last method
