Make a wish list of items to keep an eye on
A wish list helps you to prepare for Black Friday and go into it organized rather than frantically trying to remember a number of items that you wanted to buy. It also makes it easier to check if there are any deals on the products you want because you’ll have your list of products set and be able to search for the best price product by product. This is especially helpful if you plan on doing Christmas shopping on Black Friday.
Sign up to newsletters and follow your favorite brands
Each brand navigates Black Friday differently and for you this can mean adopting a different strategy for each in order to secure the best deals! If you follow your favorite brands, you will be up to date with all the sales going on and know when the sales start. For example, On the Mirta website, an online store that sells gorgeous Italian handmade bags, you can already subscribe to their newsletter and receive an email when the sales on their selection of Black Friday purses start!
Choose the brands wisely and don’t be fooled
On Black Friday, cheap deals are everywhere but it’s important to be mindful of where you are shopping. Just as you can in everyday shopping, you can end up spending a lot more in the long run buying things that will not last. So, choose wisely where you choose to purchase from. Also, be wary of never heard brands and their exceptionally cheap deals- because chances are, they are too good to be true.
Before purchasing check the price history
While it can be easy to be attracted by the Black Friday marketing and prices, it’s worth checking the price history to see how good of a deal it really is. It may seem like you are getting an item for a really good deal but it may in fact not be. So take your time to look in to what the item has actually costed in the past and do a price comparison across sites as well, particularly for those bigger purchases.
Start shopping early and beat the crowds
Black Friday deals are starting earlier and earlier lately, so you can get some great deals before even the standard Black Friday dates. So, start creating your wish lists early so you can be ready to start shopping as early as possible and not miss out on any of the items that you want to pick up.
Use a cashback program
Using a cashback program is the easiest way you can earn as you spend money and make your Black Friday purchases. Many brands even offer their own rewards programs, and you can use cash back options such as Rakuten for a cashback option as well.
Last but not least, do not forget about Cyber Monday! If a deal is tempting but you’re not too sure, better to wait and see if you can get an even better deal a couple of days later.
