Born as Chloe Alexandra Adele Emily Agnew in 1989, Chloe is an Irish singer and songwriter. She is famous for being an original and current member of the Celtic music group Celtic Woman. Chloe was born to Irish entertainer Adele Twink King and Irish oboist David Agnew. She made her first television appearance on her mother’s program at only four weeks old.
She later sang on the show at the age of six. In 1998, Agnew represented Ireland and was the winner of the Grand Prix at the First International Children’s Song Competition in Cairo with her song The Friendship Tree.
During her life, the Celtic woman star has battled with obesity and weight. She says she has become fat because of her not-so-healthy lifestyle. As an entertainer, she is always busy, doesn’t get enough sleep, and rarely has time to exercise.
But at one point, Chloe said it was enough. And that is when she started her Chloe Agnew’s weight loss program.
Nowadays, celebrities like Madonna, Rachel Ray, and Oprah Winfrey have endorsed her. But is she for real? Let’s take a look at Chloe Agnew’s weight loss diet plan.
Who is Chloe Agnew?
There is a good amount of information about the famous singer. She is a strong female character in the music world. Born in Ireland, she grew up in the United Kingdom. As a child, she was inspired by the titles Frosty the Snowman and Strawberries. During her childhood, she wanted to be an artist. Chloe spent a lot of years studying art, chemistry, and mathematics.
Her music career started in 2000 when she was only 11 years old. She approached director David Downes about recording a song to raise money for the children of Afghanistan. He helped her record the song Angel of Mercy for the album This Holy Christmas Night.
In 2002, she was signed to Celtic Collections. With the help of Downes, she recorded her debut album Chloe and in 2004, she released her second, Chloe: Walking in the Air.
In 2004, she appeared as part of the group Celtic Woman at The Helix in Dublin. She was the youngest member at the time. During her career, she has been featured on 14 albums with the group, recording songs in multiple languages.
She left the group in 2013 to focus on her solo career but returned in January 2020. In one interview, she talked about Irish music, saying, “Irish music was bred into us from the day we are born. Looking back to our ancestors and our heritage, it was always in our culture. Even though the hardest of times, Irish people always turned to music. They have a song for everything, from drinking to depression”.
Chloe Agnew Weight Loss Journey
Talking about Chloe Agnew’s weight loss, the Irish singer did it within a period of six months. She went from weighing 160 pounds to 140 pounds. Losing 20 pounds along the way is not an easy thing.
She proved that there is no fixed time to work on your improvement and public image. Sometimes, it is better late than never. And the best part is, the method she followed can work for anyone else to improve his/her health.
Let’s talk about how did Chloe lose weight? When she decided to change herself, Agnew started working towards her new goal. First, she started with new diet habits. She prepared her daily routine including workouts.
Some fans speculate that she underwent weight-loss surgery. But that is not true. People on social media always have theories and conspiracies. But most of her ways are actually simple and anyone can do it.
For example, let’s take a look at her diet plan. Chloe started analyzing her daily food intake. She started taking notice of everything she ate. So, over time, she noticed that junk food takes up a lot of her daily calorie intake. And stopped consuming junk food. Instead, she shifted her focus to eating homemade food.
For example, for her breakfast, she would get light snacks and green tea. The main focus for her lunch was adding a vegetable. And the same for dinner. The established routine allowed her to eat healthily and shed some pounds in the process.
Now let’s move to Chloe Agnew’s workout plan. Again, she didn’t do anything special or something you cannot do. She would do cycling and weight lifting.
But her main change was walking one mile in the morning. That helped the Celtic woman star kick start the day and speed up her metabolism in the morning. As a result, she would burn more calories throughout the day.
As for exercise, besides weight lifting, the famous singer also took some yoga practice. You can do it as well. Yoga is great for burning calories, even though most people look at it as static and boring exercise.
